Oculus Quest is very well suited as an entry-level model for individuals as well as institutions (such as schools or
businesses). The purchase costs are relatively low and average IT knowledge and skills are sufficient to operate
the headset and controllers and to enjoy VR applications. This should make it much easier to use in the classroom,
especially when working with SEN students. As more and more apps are developed for specific tasks and activities
in different professions, the high degree of freedom of this stand-alone device is an advantage. As Oculus Quest
is a stand-alone device that does not need to be wired to another device, several headsets can be used at the
same time in larger groups, e.g., in the classroom.

The Valve Index headset offers excellent visuals, it has an ultra-crisp display that runs fairly well even with older
GPUs, a wider field of view, a higher refresh rate and Valve’s 'knuckle' controllers, which can track the movement
