for a content check. In total, evaluations were made for 9 hardware devices and 20 apps and sent
to Auxilium/AT.
c) Consolidating results and deriving recommendations
In summary, the following key figures result for the implementation of the study:
• All partners implemented session between 30 January and 30 March
• Overall, 32 sessions were implemented (most partners did 2 sessions, only TILI did 4 and
Auxilium 18, via telephone)
• 141 target groups’ representatives got involved (78 teachers/trainers, 37 stakehold-
ers/policy makers, 26 experts)
• Only TILI did face-to-face meetings, all others used internet and/or telephone
With these results it became evident, that the survey met all technical and formal requirements
set by the application. Provided with the (raw) data from the assessment and documentation
forms, Auxilium summarised all information and results in a draft evaluation and assessment re-
port. This kind of beta version of the e-Compendium was presented and discussed in detail during
nd
the 2 partner meeting in June 2021; after revision, it was sent to all partners in order to further
refine the report in a comprehensive peer evaluation process, to weed out inconsistencies and
contradictions and to add new aspects and findings. Based on the outcomes of these evaluation
loop, the final version of the e-Compendium - which you are reading now - was completed and
published in July 2021.
During the whole process of planning and implementing the development of this compendium,
top priority was given to meeting the requirements of the application and fulfilling the fundamen-
tal standards of empirical social research were adhered, on both quantitative and qualitative lev-
els. This also applies to the methodology and process of data transmission, evaluation and analy-
sis. The data obtained through the Focus Groups should therefore be sufficiently valid, reliable
and - as far as possible - objective to serve as a basis for further project work.
At the same time, we have tried to be as customer-oriented, user-friendly, pragmatic and under-
standable as possible. In addition to the members of the project group who are developing the
VETREALITY course on the basis of these research results, the target groups of the E-Compendium
are primarily strategic decision makers and stakeholders in education policy as well as managers
and trainers in VET. We would like to explain to them in as simple terms as possible what VR is
about and how it can be used as a learning method, especially in WBL and when working with
