Co&So is a consortium of cooperatives located in Tuscany region which includes social and not social cooperatives working in the social and cultural fields. Co&So counts 26  employees who provide services to the associated. The main services are:

administration, monitoring the calls and as a consequence to submit calls most on public procurement, offering European opportunities in order to promote innovation in the cooperatives in terms of improving employees’ competences and services, quality certification, communication. All together the staff working in the associated cooperatives is 3400 professionals. In Co&so there is a special office working just on European funding with very skilled staff who has more than 10 years of experience in the field. Areas of activities in which the CO&SO and its cooperatives provide their services are:

  • Social care, healthcare and housing;
  • Support to migrants, asylum seekers and refugees as well as to other disadvantaged groups;
  • Culture and tourism;
  • Education and youth;
  • Vocational trainings and job placements.

Co&So has been Quality Certified to the following EU Standards: ISO9001:2015; ISO14001:2015:BS18001:2007.

Based both in Campobasso (Molise) and Florence (Tuscany), Reattiva is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation founded in 2011, working at local, national and EU level, with the main purpose of providing formal, non-formal and informal education and training to young and adult individuals.

Reattiva’s specific objectives are:

  • Improve the accessibility, quality and efficiency of education and training of different targets;
  • Support youth in various local, regional, national and international initiatives;
  • Support the social integration and realization of each individual, especially those who are endangered by social exclusion;
  • Promote and contribute to education, lifelong learning, e-learning and the usage of new technologies in education, training and entrepreneurship;
  • Provide support in breaking the barriers for people from difficult personal backgrounds by widening the access to education and self-realization in life and work.

Reattiva has also a longstanding experience in EU projects and relevant competences in managing EU projects in the frame of ERASMUS+, EYE, ESF, YFEJ, EaSI,  EAfA and INTERREG, both as a promoter and partner, always connected to formal, non-formal and informal education and training, employability and social inclusion.

In the frame of EU programmes, Reattiva promotes, in particular, the learning mobility as a land of acquisition of key competences and skills needed from young people to access employability and social inclusion and from staff (teachers, trainers, tutors, youth workers) to succeed in their work with young and adult individuals.

Between 2011 and 2020 Reattiva managed 92 mobility projects, involving about 8.500 learners (20% of whom disadvantaged, with fewer opportunities, disabled or with special needs) and about 650 participants among staff.

On the hosting viewpoint, between 2011 and 2020, more than 2500 learners and 450 participants among staff coming from different EU countries have been hosted from Reattiva in Campobasso and Florence.

Auxilium is a non-profit research and development association located in Graz (AT) with the aim to improve cultural and education exchange between organisations and institutions in Europe. Since 2004, Auxilium has been participating and coordinating many co-operation and exchange projects and strategic partnerships in the fields of education, culture, health and social sciences to support the main aims of the association. On this basis, Auxilium has gathered vast experiences and built-up broad expertise in the planning and implementation of transnational European co-operation projects. Auxilium has been responsible for pedagogical developments as well as for the dissemination strategy of Erasmus+ projects.

Danmar Computers LLC is a private company operating in the field of Information Technology and providing vocational training in this field. Danmar has an extensive experience in developing modern Web and mobile applications that are used for educational purposes. Danmar also has long-term experience of carrying out European projects within which company’s R&D staff conducts research and prepares trainings tailored to the needs of various learners. During 15 years, Danmar has successfully implemented over 50 projects within Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Progress and recently Erasmus+.

In many of these projects Danmar was responsible for designing and coordinating dissemination strategies. Danmar Computers is the developer and provider of AdminProject, the on-line system for management of European projects. All activities of the company are based on wide and well-established cooperation network, both on national and international levels. The national networks include training and counselling institutions, universities, schools, non-governmental organisations as well as private sector companies. International network include partners of various profiles coming from every European Union’s country. Danmar Computer’s mission is the promotion of life-long education and assurance of equal access to education for everyone with the use of modern technology.

INSHEA, the national higher institute for training and research on special needs education, is a French higher education institute training professionals in the field of inclusive education and social and professional inclusion for young people with disabilities.

Under supervision of the ministry of National Education and Higher Education and Research, INSHEA is a benchmark in France for the schooling, education, and training of persons with special educational needs.  

Its main activities are: (1) Training (it offers vocational training for education staff, as well as Master’s degrees) (2) Research (it includes a multidisciplinary research team on disability and inclusive education)  (3) The creation of adapted pedagogical resources for people with disabilities.

INSHEA has a staff of about 150 people (trainers, researchers and administrative) and it is part of a bigger research and training consortium (COMUE Paris Lumières along with Universities Paris 8 Saint Denis and Paris 10 Nanterre).

INSHEA has led or participated in many European projects (Comenius, Equal, Racine, Grundtvig, Leonardo, Tempus, Erasmus +). It also provides its expertise and builds training programs to guide the educational community toward inclusion in different countries aiming at developing accessibility and inclusive education (Lebanon, Morocco, Russia, Haiti, Ouzbekistan, etc.).

Tolosako Inmakulada Lanbide Ikastola (TILI) is a centre which has been organised as a workers’ cooperative since 2004. The decision to set up a cooperative was based on the Basque cooperativist culture and a strong belief in its principles.

In 2005, TILI decided to form part of Ikastolen Elkartea: because we feel part of our society, because we want to teach, learn, work and live in the language of our society – Basque.

These are the characteristics that define our school:

Cork Education and Training Board (CETB) is a driving force of education and training in Cork, Ireland, providing high-quality services which are innovative, responsive and inclusive. Through Cork ETB there is a pathway for every learner. Cork Education and Training Board plans, provides, supports and coordinates education, training and youth services in Cork. CETB caters for education in Primary, Secondary, and Further Education and Training. Within the Further Educational (Vocational) Sector we providing courses at EQL 4 and 5. Courses are certified through Quality Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and comply with strict quality standards. Our courses are student-centred, dynamic and are designed to meet current market needs. They are a response to the demand for flexible job orientated training and education. Our courses are open to all and we promote a policy of active inclusion. People of all ages and abilities are enrolled at the Further Education Colleges. CETB have a significant deal of experience in working with disadvantaged students including the long term unemployed, early school leavers, lone parents and minority groups. CETB colleges have strong support services in place to help these students achieve their full potential through education. CETB works to fight all forms of racism and discrimination and strives to ensure that all of our students are provided with the best educational opportunities possible.
