Why use VR in a workplace
More and more studies are confirming the effectiveness of
using VR in the workplace.
1. A University of Maryland study has shown that people are able to remember more information if it is
presented to them through VR than if they were to receive it on paper or a lecture.
2. A study conducted by Walmart found that VR works better for remembering and retaining memorised skills
than traditional forms of employee training. Test scores increased by 10-15% (even among people who didn't
use VR just watched others do it).
3. The introduction of VR to mine safety training in South Africa has reduced learning time from 10 days to 1.5.
